MIA for long

The act of blogging seems to have faded from my daily life.
It's obvious right? Just look at the date of my very last post.
Life after A's has been more hectic than expected. I rather it be packed than me lazing around at home, not knowing what to do.
Here's an update of my busy schedule for the past week:

28th Nov-3Dec was the annual national drama camp. Being the ever enthusiastic batch (haha) that involves itself in spore arts theatre activities, we (myself, liwei, shulian, jeffery and houshun) were leaders for the camp. In the past, leaders would be assigned to different groups. However, due to lack of manpower this year, the 5 of us, plus joanna worked more like a team of our own. Not so much involved in assisting the teachers but doing admin stuff and of cos, having fun, fun and much more fun!

The camp was held at the Pasir Ris PA Campsite, adjacent to Pasir Ris park. It's an overnight camp but staying overnight is optional. Of course, we stayed overnight!
There were a handful of new teachers this year. (The hottest duo: Mao Pu Qi and Zhang Jia Wei were suprisingly not here)

-Jacky Lee from Macau (he's my fav teacher.. haha) He brought his student, Calvin, whom i didnt expect to be only 19 years old. To think that i called him "LAO SHI" haha.. he was like "bu yao jiao wo lao shi, wo hen nian qing" in his canto-chinese accent.

- Liu Jin Kang lao shi from Msia. I really look up to this man. He's really talented. His ideas are real good okay. Plus, he's fun and amicable. He also brought one of his students, Tony, who happens to be only 21. Super fun duo. Remember playin cards with them at night.

- Hua4 lao shi's from taiwan. She rocks! The most funny woman i've ever come across! She's a super slim mum with an attitude!

- Huang2 Lao Shi from taiwan too. It's her first visit to spore. She's this bubbly and spontaneous woman! She even hopped onto the "trolley" jeffery was pushing and made him push her. Haha.

- Feng2 Shi4 Quan2 aka QUAN2 BO2 aka AH QUAN.
Youngest teacher of the lot who's 22, stands at 1.87m, from hk, avid bball fan and THE ONE who managed to swoop our dear SHULIAN aka AHLIAN off her feet. AH LIAN AH QUAN. Lol. This guy is a cool dud! Always trying to speak chinese but i'll always "suan" him and make him speak in canto instead. "Yau Kui" number 1 cos he eats non stop. Eats almost anything he sees.

- Su1 Jia1 Liang4 from spore. I think cindy will know this guy. He's teaching drama in NUS. Anyway, he first struck me as a DAO KIA cos he'll only comeby when he has lessons and leave right after. He hardly mingles around with the other teachers. However, after getting to know him and chatting with him, i came to realise that he was this mr nice guy. Liked his skit! Full of skill man! Obviously, his group bagged the award for the most popular skit and it was voted the most well-liked skit.

You see, just the teachers alone make the camp super fun. Now, the camp proper:

You can say that arts theatre is going thru a "revolution". Haha, sounds damn communist but ya. The camp this year revolves around "innovation". All 7 groups have to come up with a group name based on the theme "chuang4 zao4 xin1 tian1 di4" and their skits on hui4 bao4 had to be related to their group name.
PLUS! THE HIGHTLIGHT OF THE CAMP! there was a camp song specially written by li3 yi4 and a dance cheorographed by yuxiong. THE STUDENTS EVEN HAD A CHANCE TO FILM AN MTV!! ARGH! if only i was a participant this year....

fun fun fun. im getting post camp blues. but even before i recover, i'll be going to hk. haha. will be leaving for hk tmr and will return on thur. gonna meet jacky in hk~
