Saturday
Had a busy yet fun day yesterday.
Met liwei, donkey, shulian and zhuming at Eunos Mrt (only to realise that my skirt had turned 90 deg).
Went to Ulu Pandan CC for the Asian Skit Performance. The sole purpose was to meet Jacky, Liu Lao Shi and Guoren. So happy to see them again.
Ernnie, Joanna, Liwei, Shulian, Jeffery, Guoren, Zhuming, Donkey and Liu Jin Kang Lao Shi
With Jacky, there's Donkey, Jeff, Yuankai, Joanna, Liwei, Zhuming and Shulian
Anyway, i only realised that the performance was a ticketed one. Each ticket costs 10 bucks i think. But our group happily walked in and sat down. Auntie Jenny still came over to ask us to move to the VIP seats in front, saying that she reserved them for us. Wa Seh...
I have to say that some local groups were quite disappointing, failing in comparison with those from HK, Macau and Msia.
With special mention of the Malaysian groups: There was one group whose skit was very much similar to that of Toy Story where the toys wanted to carry out an escape. Their costumes were really nice (or i should say, the BEST amongst the lot) and so was their storyline. A very comical skit yet with a meaningful msg in it.
See.. Nice.
Yayaya.. and the "cowboy" in front looked like derrick ho.
That was all i said and the rest started pushing me towards him.
Liu Guoren even added that he came from a well-to-do family.
BAH.
Anyway, headed to Giant and NTUC to get the bbq stuff.
Overcast sky.
ALAMAK... HOW TO BBQ LIKE THAT?!
Thank God for clearing the sky at 6.
Alvin and I decided to start the fire.
It was the first time both of us were starting one but im proud to announce that IT WAS SUPER SUCCESSFUL! HEY PAL, HIGH 5 MAN! woots~
There's a new hobby that the new generation of guys want to take up.
It is none other than cooking.
See. this is what i mean:
NB: whether or not it tastes good is another thing altogether. Well, at least i can say that the food that they cooked was indeed, edible. Good Job guys! Who needs Housewives!?!
Cheers to our 5-man BBQ (sharon and cindy came later)
Seriously, it's not the number of people that matters. It's the people who come that matters.
We had great fun esp with the concoction that donkey came up with:
Chocolate Plus Marshmellows - MELTED.
Then im not sure who suggested stuffing marshmellows into longans. Not bad too. Ha.
But i still prefer the conventional Banana with Melted Chocolate. (em, it's not melted here)
Can someone enlighten me on who's feet these belong to? I found this pic in my digital cameo only to be shocked.
ARGH. I can smell EM FROM HERE!
