Sheares Exposure Camp

SECC just ended and I'm having post camp syndrome, just like the rest of my group mates from X-MEN! woots! power OG!

on finale night. Cheering competition. That's what i call TEAM SPIRIT!!

On the first day, we had the usual station games etc...However, the highlight was definitely the FRIGHT NIGHT. No one knew that we were gonna have fright night until WE WERE IN IT OURSELVES. Let me tell you why.

These seniors, as usual, have a super glib tongue. Passing us the blindfolds, they asked us to put em on, telling us that the seniors wanted to show us FIREFLIES. (sounded DUH but rather convincing) We diligently lined up in a line, held onto each others' shoulders and started feeling our way thru. They made us sit down in pairs. Keith was my fright night partner. After some time, both of us were directed into a lift (fyi, still with the blindfold on). We were told to take off our folds when the lift door closed. I took off my blindfold.... ARGH! I nearly pee-ed in my pants! There was a black figure standing behind keith. (reanactment of the eye). I was like pointing at the figurine, telling him to turn. There and then, we knew we were in Fright Night... Station after station... I was freakin out. If keith wasnt there, i would have died-ed. Super super scary. Good job guys! =)

We spend our second day at sentosa. Beach games and amazing race thereafter. The team really worked hard. We ran from station to station. With lizzy (the cross country runner) around, there was hardly any walking to do. Serious. Some photos snapped at sentosa:

Us at Palawan beach. Had real fun with the games, esp watching this group of guys do forfeit. I shant go into detail here. Anyway, it began to drizzle soon after and we had no choice but to head back to the ferry terminal for lunch.

Well Done!

Had Secret Partner (SP) Night that day. We were each assigned a partner using names of fictional characters. E.g: Shrek and Fiona etc.. Well, i was Louis Lane and my SP was of course Clark Kent. We had to exchange letters without disclosing our real identity. The seniors blindfolded us (again), made us hold hands with our SP, sat us down at palawan beach and made us talk to each other. It was real weird as we didnt know who we were talking to. PLUS, we were made to hold hands.
P.s: Only my OG (esp the guys) will know how evil I am.. hahahahaha...

We headed back to hall at around 10.. showered etc and walked to the macdonalds at west coast. It was a nice walk though.. chatting with each other... Our main purpose there was to discuss about our performance for finale night. Broke up into 2 teams.. One doing the script while the rest brainstormed the props and soundtracks needed. PURRFECT teamwork! Rehearsed for the performance till 4am... ... I love working into the wee hours, esp when the whole team is there for each other.

Third day: West Coast Park...We went there for more telematches! Loved the 'volleyball' game. X-Men was HIGH! Another game was the obstacle course game where there was a series of obstacles that we had to pass.. Each of us took one obstacle. Poor lizzy got rammed into by this other girl from the competing group. We had to cook dinner for the night...

We went to Ginza area to buy our stuff... TRIED working within a $10 budget. Haha. Cooking was really funny man... Some were in charge of slicing while the rest, cooking. I was at the stove, trying to cook the sauce for the pasta using campbell soup... We didnt have enough pots and joseph suggested using the rice cooker... 5 min passed.. not cooked..10 min passed... no change... 15 min passed... sauce looks super diluted. "joseph, are u sure you can use a rice cooker to cook over the stove?" Anyway, we were awarded the BEST COOKING award. Cheers!

LeHia as Bimbota Gray, Keith and Joseph as the Brokeback Prata Guys, Ming Feng as the Geek, Lynn, Ernnie, Kenneth and JianGuo as the sidekicks, Lizzy as the narrator and ShaoJie was the props guy.
