Bad Experience With SMRT

Ernnie could be considered 'unfortunate' yesterday during her rides on the bus and the train.

Part1
I had just left parkway from planet fitness to take a bus home.
Hopped onto the bus and was glad to find myself a seat.
A few seconds later, this elderly woman hopped onto the bus (okay, she didnt literally hop) with bags and more bags of groceries.
I dont know what made her lose her grip and she slipped and plonked onto the floorboard of the bus.
My first reaction - 'OH SHIT, this is bad. I hope she doesnt break a bone'
Following the first reaction, ernnie naturally went forward to assist her.

Oh by the way, did i mention that there were more than 10 people on the first deck of the bus and NOT A SINGLE ONE BOTHERED TO STAND UP TO ASSIST THE POOR LADY??
All they did was stretch out their not-so-long necks to catch the free stunts performed by ernnie, the bus driver and the old lady. From the looks on their faces, I'm quite sure some of them were pissed for the old lady was holding back their travelling time.

THE WORST PART!
While helping the lady out, this old dude came onto the bus, stretched out his crumpled arm and attempted to shove me aside saying, "不要挡路la!"
How IGNORANT and BARBARIC can an old man get?!
Ernnie was already pissed off by the nonchalent behaviour of the commuters. This guy just had to incur my wrath further! GRR!!
"HELLO... She needs HELP!" was all i retorted! I didn't even bother to care whether he understood what i was saying.

I'm sure that Aunty who fell IS A TRUE BLUE SINGAPOREAN.
Because she didn't thank me for my help.

Part 2
Arrived at Bishan MRT to meet kenneth and liz for Spore Idol.
Alighted from the train and took the escalator up to junction8.
While i was on the escalator, people started screaming and shouting!
Initially, i didn't know what was going on until i bothered turning my head around.
OH MY! There was this lady, whose bag was caught in the doors of the train that was moving away! She was on the platform but her bag strap was in the train. I didn't manage to catch much of the commotion as the escalator couldnt stop for me to do so. (okay, don't i sound like some KPO? obviously, i do)
I hope she's alright. I think she's safe or else she'd be featured on the 9.30pm news - dead or alive? hopefully the latter of course.

You see. This teenie weenie island called Singapore is a place where so much drama unfolds.
It's interesting when you're involved in one way or another.

ernnie, out.
