Ernnie's experience as a semi-housing-agent. Tssk tssk.
Momma's currently part-time housing agent and she's helping her client sell a couple of units at this newly built condo at Meyer Road: Arthur 118.
Well, her client, being Mr. Rich, purchased 10 units from the developer. (golly gee. who in the world would purchase so many units? siao ah! nvm, rich what... im in no position to comment) Anyway, momma had to check out all the 10 units for signs of defects. Being the always obedient daughter, I agreed to help her upon her request.
So... for the whole of the afternoon, i was seen opening doors, checking for the condition of the doors, locks, switches, shower head etc... Liew... like some siao char bor....
Firstly the whole house reeked of paint.
Secondly, the floors were dusty.
My. My. My.
When caroline called me, she was like 'WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU DOING?'
'TRAINING TO BE HOUSING AGENT LOR...' there and then, i thought i sprained my neck as i was trying to balance myself in the weirdly-shaped bath tub and talking on the phone... NOT EASY!
Gah... and you see the way potential buyers come and go, as if they are SHOPPING for houses. Housing agents have to accomodate to their client's timing, come earlier to ventilate the house and leave later to make sure the doors are properly locked etc... Wa Seh... I'm so not gonna be a housing agent in future man. But i heard it's good money... Maybe i should do part time like momma.
