Sheares Hall Nite Cycling 2006

Hey! It was my very first experience at night cycling on the 3rd November 2006.
Night Cycling was organised by Sheares Link to mark the closing of all our committees before we get geared up to mug for our upcoming exams.
Dee Blockers won a bicycle for themselves for acheiving the highest participation rate! YEAH!
This year, they decided to go tandem. Therefore we each had a cycling partner.

I think we cycled a total of approximately 32km from 1am-7am.
We set off from hall and headed to our first pit-stop: Labrador Park (a few clicks away from hall)
Had a couple of games there and left for esplande.
Sadly, my handphone battery dropped out of my phone. GOSH. I didnt realised it until my bike's chain fell out from the grooves. Bah! Tried to locate it but to no avail. =(
Had to continue the whole of my journey without my handphone. SOB. BUT! This didnt stop me from having fun!! Whee~
We rode past Alexandre Road, Zion Road, Zouk, Mohammed Sultan Road, MOS, Shenton Way and arrived at Esplanade. Man... i just realised that the stretch we took comprised of the top clubbing spots in Singapore. Well, we saw many party-goers leaving their hangout at around that time. Danger man... imagine if some of them were drunk... and we were only on bicycles.
Anyway, esplande looked equally pretty at night.
It's a really nice place to hangout as you sit by the river side. Couples make out there. Haha. But that aside, it's great to be there at 5am. =)
Cycled over Merdeka Bridge. Wa. The gradient there was one of the steepest.
All of us stopped at Geylang for their famous beancurd and fritters. Was really famished by then and indulged in a bowl of Mian Xian as well. Rumbly in my tummy~ Yum Yum
It all came to a close at 7.30am when we arrived at East Coast Park.
We were tired but it wasnt shown on our faces. Showed how much fun we had eh? =)
In all, Nite Cycling was AWESOME!

Part 2: Tao Nan School's 100th Anniversary Celebrations:
Headed back to TNS for her centennial celebration. Met up with a couple of my teachers. Haha, they still remembered me and said i was really a good student back then. Lol... *head big big* Walked around the compound with my teacher. Many thoughts came back and i could recall the many events that happened at specific locations in the school. I could even rmb the canteen auntie who used to sell hotdog buns that went for 50cents each. Haha. Man.. i really miss those days in TNS. Those happy childhood days without any worries...
Ms Soh: my primary 2 form teacher. Well, judging from her appearance, she's definitely the MOST HIP teacher i've ever had. Am really glad that we're still in contact and gossip about stuff. Hee. She's so much like a friend now. =)
Chen Lao Shi: another of my chinese teacher. Nice and amicable lady whom i always meet at parkway. Haha.
Am so glad that im still in contact with so many of my teachers.
They asked me to do relief teaching in TNS some day. Haha.
Oh well, for the last time, I'm SO NOT GONNA BE A TEACHER IN FUTURE YA? GRR... but relief teaching is not bad though... =) good money. heh heh.
