Theatre
I stepped onto the theatre stage once again.
It has been long since I've done so and I felt like as if i was home again.
Having kept myself distant from drama ever since I decided not to be part of the Sheares Production team, I've been yearning the day when I could set foot on the theatre stage once more. Yes, finally, I was back under the lights today.
The feeling was great. Despite not being able to memorize all my lines and unable to grasp my character in depth, it just felt good to be performing under those lights. Call me a stage whore.
Spent the whole day back at NUS.
We had our Theatre Practical Rehearsal. Well, I am currently taking a Theatre Studies Module at NUS and acting makes up 25% of the total grade. I've got a fantastic group to start off with. They are awesome. Talents who can memorize chunks of words in days and getting into role within minutes. Im thankful and pray that we'll break a leg on the 22nd November. KK Seet will be there to grade us. Eeww.. I hope he'll be nice. Hey Isaac, thanks for being the ever patient director. To my fellow cast: Liz, Darren and Koustav, let's work together and create a BLAST ya? To Lehia and Kenneth: all the best with ur portfolios! I'm sure the both of you will do a great job inthe set and costumes respectively with ur creatitive juices!
5/6 of my theatre group
I cannot imagine how fast time has past. It seemed like as if school just started a few weeks ago. In two weeks time, I'll be embarking on my very first major exam in NUS. Competition is terribly steep and the only way to survive is to be a cut above the rest.
Alright, shall digress a lil from all these nerve wrecking matters.
I'm so looking forward to celebrating my birthday in dec. It falls perfectly on a saturday this year! Momma asked if i wanted to hold a partae! OF COS! =P
