UNO!
4 down and 1 to go. whee~
i was absolutely appalled by the new media department yesterday during the new media paper.
just as we settled down at our allocated seats, i flipped the exam booklet and saw LINES.
LINES in an MCQ paper.
'they must have given me the wrong paper la....'
'we apologize for not informing you before hand... but instead of 50 MCQ questions, we have 32 MCQs and the rest are short answer questions...'
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hello!??! who changes the exam format at the very last minute?
NO ONE. NEVER EVER have i experienced such a flop in the setting of exam papers.
You've got to know that the studying method for an MCQ paper aint quite the same as that for a paper including short answer questions.
Crap. Singaporeans being singaporeans (me included), diligently accepted the fact without voicing out their discontent. I was waiting for a brave soul to step out in protest but to no avail. Haha.
BAH!
General Bio paper on monday.
I S/U-ed it. Well, when you S/U a module, all you have to do is get a passing grade and you'll be okay. The grade you get for this module doesnt not affect your Cumulative Average Point (more notoriously known as CAP. it's kinda like a taboo word though) However, one is only entitled to 3 S/Us in their entire life @ NUS.
Now... what's my point?
SIMPLE. Since I S/U-ed it, all i need is a pass. I've got mostly As for my assignments with 1 B. Janice said I'm safe and that all i need it to get 20/60 for my MCQ paper to get a safe pass. HAHAHAHA.
Wonghui told me things would turn out fine when i told her that i have yet to touch my bio text since day 1. When i told her that i S/U-ed it, she told me to stop studying. Haha.
I've got real confident friends. HAHA. =P
just to recap some of the things that have happened for the past week...
it's been seriously, a tough week, with approximately 5 hours of sleep every night.
I'm drained out and I seriously need a break. Can't wait for the redang and taiwan-hk trip!! COME!!
pictures taken over the past week...
been living on 'exam-food' (if you get what i mean)
unhealthy yar.
anyway, i must say that it has been a rather fruitful mugging week especially with the mingling with my fellow deeblockers at biz fac.
(gilyn, caroline, kenneth, kaiwen, xiangying, allan, lilian, rodney, junseong, ernest, adeline...)
we spend the nights (and the wee hours of the morning) there studyin' together...
shooing all the mosquitoes away...
listening to the ringing of the ship that carries the cargo at PSA (around 2am every night)
walking back from biz fac to hall in the cold night.
this has been my life for the past week.
i'm gonna miss it.
BUT! THEN AGAIN... HERE COMES FUN AND MORE FUN!!!! WOOTS!!!
LIBERATION @ 3pm on MONDAY!!!
