FUN --> FEVER

The weekend was a blast!!!
It all started with the Sheares Night Cycling organised by Sheares Link.

We had one last year:

This year's route was much tougher and a lil more 'un-smooth' as we had to make detours here and there. However, it was still a night to remember as all of us were geared in our helmets and went tandem. Went tandem with ken and half of the time, he was complaining about how tough it was to cycle me. *pui* Nevertheless, he did a gd job la. Lol.

Another factor that added to the fun was the fact that I had my gd friends in the same group as I was. Gilyn, Caroline, Joyce and Keith were in the same group as we were! woots! In addition, there were other deeblockers like adeline, ernest, yiling, wenyi, huajun, jeremy and ziqiang in our group! wheet!!

We set off at around 12am and headed for our first destination at Bukit Timah food centre where kenneth was already half-dead (i can vouch for that). Thereafter, we headed for Botanic Gardens, Zion Road, Redhill, ROM, Clarke Quay, Chinatown, Shenton Way, Raffles Place, City Hall, Kallang and all the way to Geylang where ALAS!! WE COULD INDULGE IN OUR LONG-AWAITED SUPPER!!!! (well, that was around 4am in the morning)

Caroline and Jeremy were obviously still in high spirits, joyce and keith were tired to the max and ken and i tried hard to force a smile. Haha. Honestly, we were all famished and worn out by the time we arrived at Geylang. You should have seen the hidden smiles of the aunties of the shop. Good business wad.. how can not smile rite!?

We arrived just in time at National Stadium to catch the pretty sunrise which we missed last year!!! Awww.. lovely sunrise. I told myself to wake up earlier from now on to catch the pretty sunrise. Haha. Let's see if I can do it. Final destination was at East Coast Mac where everyone were awfully shagged-out. Keith, Gilyn and Caroline explain it all~
All in all, it was a great ride except for the fact that I ended up with a terrible sore throat the following day! crap!


The next day was Liz's and Daniel's 20th Birthday! The twins celebrated their birthday at Bora Bora at Palawan Beach. Ken and I went down early to help out with the decorations. We were supposed to be her receptionists but I don't know what happened in the end. Lol. We bought Liz what she wanted - a pair of ALDO heels and make-up from CHANEL! =P
She was so happy and proclaimed that ours was the best present! wahahahah!!
it was battle of the sexes in this game where the girls (ivy, joyce and myself) kept losing to the guys (joseph, keith and ken) and were therefore made to drink beer. bleah. i thought my threshold was bad until i saw ivy. We didn't know she couldnt drink until she stood up and couldnt walk straight. Her face was all red! (check out the above pic). Mine was a lil too but it seems like ken's one was the worst la. Ivy, we're not gonna let u drink ever again!!!! *come to the light* (internal joke)
