FINALLY!!

CONGRATULATIONS SPORE FOR WINNING THE BID FOR THE 2010 YOUTH OLYMPIC GAMES!!!!
Argh!!
I'm sure this piece of good news must have brought joy to almost every singaporean!
It's like the FIRST TIME EVER where we get to opportunity to hold such a WORLD EVENT!!
In two years time, all eyes will be on Singapore!!!
CONGRATULATIONS ONCE AGAIN!! WE DID IT!!!



It's definitely a major leap for Singapore's standing in the world.
I'm so happy to be able to see my country hold the games as it is almost impossible for a small country, with limited sports infrastructure due to limited capacity and resources, to hold the OLYMPICS. At least, we get to hold the YOUTH OLYMPICS =)

The moment when the IOC President Jacques Rogge revealed the winning country, I was nearly in tears. There was almost a chill sent down my spine and I felt a whole series of sudden emotions surging in me. FINALLY... FINALLY!!

Am so looking forward to Singapore in 2010!!
We get the IR, the Youth Olympic Games.
Oh, but before that, we have the F1 SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX on the 28 September 2008!!
ARGH!! I so wanna catch it!!

Who says it ain't exciting to live in Singapore? HMPH! =)
