Alrighty! People, get ready for a rather long post with a series of events that have taken place over the past two weeks... =) Shall post in 'chronological order'...
1) Grocery Shopping + Cookout + Running in the rain (8 April)
It all started with Lionel appearing on Level 5 telling Fish and I that he was going grocery shopping with Kyhe... Fish and I happily got him to get us our usuals (bubble tea+waffles). However, Lionel decided not to be that nice this time around and forced us to go to Ginza with him and Khye. 'Alright', and so we budged. Made Jeremy (Mimi) come along and we forced him to stop his dota game. muahhahah! Three cheers to us successfully getting him to stop dota. Please.. it IS NOT EASY TO STOP A GUY FROM A DOTA GAME OKAY!!

Went crazy in Sheng Shiong as we cam whored... It started to pour like mad as soon as we finished our shopping... All we could do was to run to the bus shelter to take the bus back to hall and run AGAIN from the shelter to hall.. craps... CUI!!! But it was fun la.. haha... immediately took a hot bath, hoping to prevent a cold from setting in and we started cooking dinner! *full* Played foosball thereafter to relieve the jaded-ness (is there such a word?) in us...

2) The West Wing by NUS Theatre Studies (7 April)

Bought tickets to support both Cindy and Melissa in their production. Awesome acting, Cindy!! *clapclap* Mel sang BEAUTIFULLY!!! Omg... babe.. I'll call you some day and make you sing to me over the phone when I'm feelin stressed okay? Muahahaha.. when the play started, Jeff and I thought we wouldn't understand the play as it seemed to be inclined very much towards Chinese Opera... However, it turned out to be somewhat like a comedy with hilarious renditions of pop songs whose lyrics have been re-edited to suit the context of the play. HAHA! WORTH THE $$!!! =)
3) The Singapore Flyer (6 April)
Have yet to get the photos from my cousin. This is all I have. =)
Aunt MF treated the whole family to the flyer on Sunday as it was Joel's birthday. It was our very first time on the flyer and everyone was ecstatic as we boarded the capsule!! We had one capsule to ourselves and we celebrated Joel's birthday in it. Nice =) The ride took approximately 35 minutes and we cam-whored like mad. (this includes the adults as well okay).

The ride was indeed an unforgettable one as we were greeted with a panoramic view of Singapore's skyline... Am kinda proud to be living in this cosmopolitan city especially with all the development that is going on. We were able to get full views of the construction of the IR, the floating stage over at the Esplanade and the neighbouring developments. I can't wait to see Singapore in another 3-5 years! Awww.... I'll definitely board the flyer then (hopefully with a special someone? haha)!
4) Deeblocker's Year 2 BBQ (5 April)

Finally! We had our first batch outing!! It was a simple BBQ held at my place with a fantastic turnout =) All i can say is that WE ARE A BUNCH OF YAO-KUIs!!! SUPER GREEDY LAR!! Half of the time, we were ALL crowding around the pit hoping to get our food... It was 2 hours of non-stop eating... Taboo after that.. haha... super fun lar!!! Let's organise another one soon!!
5) Blk Dee's Senior's Farewell (1 April)
Our snr's farewell was a cosy and heartwarming affair. We had a mini 'picnic' at the grass patch in front of the block and presented the seniors with customized umbrellas. Thereafter, they were made to take the 'walk to remember' where there were many photos of their past in Sheares. Made them recite the Blk Dee pledge:
'I am XXX,
I live in room DXXX,
I will always be a TRUE DEEBLOCKER,
I dare to reach the deepest,
I LOVE BLOCK DEE!'
Yup, this is what they always make freshies recite. It's their turn now. Lol.
Seniors, we'll miss all of you!!!
6) Blk Dee Concert (exclusively for deeblockers)

The annual blk dee concert allowed our deeblockers to display their 'talents'. Lol.
The year twos put up a dance, 'The Nicest Kid in Town'.
I sang a duet with Wenlee and Jeremy.
=)
For now, it's MUGGING TIME.
oh yes, and i just won a $5 starbucks voucher just by helping my teaching assistant complete a survey for his research. Yay!! This has come at the right time - mugging for exams at starbucks... awesome.
Time for weekends at starbucks... Weekdays at the central library... =X
