Whoopie!

Sheares Family Day 2008 took place on 29th March 2008.
It happened to coincide with dad's birthday. Therefore, I had breakfast with the family at TCC@ Milennia Walk before heading back to hall for family day! =)

Here's Cheekiang, Joyce, myself and Kenneth at the photobooth that CK was mending. Almost everything was free on family day.. the food, the games, the photo-taking, the bouncing castle... and the list goes on...

Anyway, I was put thru this whole boo-boo about how I won the top prize in the lucky draw that day, the grand prize being an IPOD TOUCH!!! I left early and caroline called at arnd 6pm to ask if my lucky draw coupon number was 19. Given that I misplaced my coupon earlier on, I kinda forgot what my number was. She said that Kenneth's and Weisong's ones were 17 and 18 respectively and given the fact that I was with them when collecting my coupon, i assumed that i was 19. SUPER DISAPPOINTED!!!

That was when i decided to call my dearest ALLY - JOYCE CHEE to whine big time about my loss...

Ally asked 'Aiyo, what's your lucky number?'
Me '19 lor.. sian.. argh!'
Ally went 'BUT 19 IS MY NUMBER...'

okay.. that explained everything. I thought 19 was my number but it turned out to be joyce chee's number and my sorrow was transferred to my dearest ally. Haha.. sorry ally man... Shouldn't have called you. =X

Spent the whole Saturday evening celebrating Dad's birthday over at Suntec City Guild House where the whole family had dinner together. It was a cosy affair with guitarist serenading the family with popular tunes while we indulged in our yummilicious food!

Happy Birthday PUPS!!! em, where were u looking!?!??! lol... Mum got him the awesome LANA CAKE from Bukit Timah... woots! It's a common favourite in the family =)
Next up, we headed to the Karaoke room for some fun and entertainment. Dad booked the karaoke room for 20 pax and we had a super fun time in there... especially when the songs we sang ranged from the oldies to the hip and funky music of today. It was interesting how Granny complained about how awful pop music sounded. Haha... Granny, it's called GENERATION GAP!! =P
Anyway, I didn't know that Granny could sing that well till that night!
Dad can sing really well too!!! We never fail to make him sing 'TENESSE WALTZ' everytime we head for the karaoke =P
Being able to go crazy with your family is indeed a blessing.
I always treasure the countless moments when the whole family can get together for fun, love, peace and joy!! =)

Yay! Ken got tickets to go to one of the fashion shows at the spore fashion fest! And guess wad? It's by RAOUL!!! woots! have always liked their series of corporate wear!

2) 'THE REUNION' - Blk D Year 2s BBQ! (5 April)

finally! a gathering just for the yr2 batch from block dee! woots! =P
it's gonna happen this sat right in my home! muahahah! i hope the response will be good man... heeheee... wa.. got official invite leh!! better come k? haha =) can't wait for it!! woots!!!
