Sentimental...

We had our very own Blk Dee's snr's farewell last night.
This time round, there are many snrs who will be leaving, as compared to last yr's.
Will miss them especially as I've been rather close to a couple of em. Apart from tricking us and then 'imparting' all their tricks up their sleeves, these snrs have indeed played a very important role in the block. They have shown us the importance of being bonded to the block. All of them have stayed in Blk Dee for 4 years and I'm sure hall must have been their home away from home and eveyone being a part of this big and lovely family.
This made me put myself in their shoes...
In near time, I'd be leaving hall as well.
Let's say if I decide not to/can't make it for the honours year, i'd definitely have to leave hall.
Think i'll be rather sad as this is the place where I've forged alot of strong friendships and where I've learnt how to be independent, face problems myself and know how to differentiate right from wrong.
I have never regretted staying in hall.
To think that I ever told mum that ONE SEMESTER was all I wanted.
NO NO...
I want to stay ALL SEMESTERS!!! =)

This leads me to another point.
My Xmen. =(
In the coming year, dear lizzy and joycie joyce will be leaving for Boston for SEP and Bio Valley for NOC respectively. One will be gone for one semester and the other, two. Sobs. When lizzy returns, joseph will be leaving for SEP in Sweden. That'll take another semester.
Technically, this will be the last semester where all of us get to stay together in hall. And if you realise, there are only a couple of weeks left for this.

I seriously do not want all of these to end....
It's wrong to hold on.
However, I think that there are times where we cannot hold back the sentimental side of us. This is just part of being human.
Well, I guess I shouldn't be so pessimistic like what lizzy said.
Being overseas doesn't deprive us of any part of our friendship.
It's just the physical aspect that is lacking.
I'm quite sure that things will go alright. =)

Hence, i really hope that our plan for a getaway after the exams will work out!
Plus, Joseph's birthday next week... =)
